Neville Pierce is a filmmaker, author and journalist whose first short as director, "Bricks", was praised by David Fincher and won the Melies d’Argent at the Abertoir Film Festival.
Pierce has directed great acting talent – including Jason Flemyng, Lucy Boynton, Nicholas Pinnock and Tim McInnerny – in four shorts and produced several others.
He has various features in development as either writer, director or producer (sometimes all three). He has written for hire for several companies, including Netflix.
His journalism has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Esquire and The Guardian, among others, and he has interviewed everyone from Jodie Foster to Jack Nicholson. He is also writing a book about the making of "Fight Club". This has involved breaking the first and second rules with everyone from Brad Pitt to the woman who made the soap.
He is a contributing editor to Empire (the world’s biggest film magazine).
