Simon is a writer for the screen and the author of a range of books, comics as well as audio plays based on properties including Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Being Human, Primeval and Robin Hood.  He has produced documentaries for Radio 3 and is co-author of "Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Slayer Stats".

His writing for the screen includes "Cleaning Up" starring Mark Gatiss and Louise Jameson, "The Plotters" for Virgin Media Shorts and "Wizard" starring David Warner.  He created the BBC Radio 4extra science-fiction series "Graceless" and has a range of material in development for film and TV.
