Her writing includes grounded scifi BOTANICA, female-led comedy SISTER CIRCLE, time-travel comedy BEDTIME STORIES, sitcom THE DISRUPTORS and a bitcoin true crime comedy BITCOIN BANDITS.
She was commissioned to recut the footage from Sacha Dench's ambitious expedition FLIGHT OF THE SWANS, a retelling of an epic adventure to track Bewick's Swans from the Russian Tundra to the UK, 7000 kilometres in a paramotor, in an attempt to discover why they are in catastrophic decline. The resulting feature documentary, narrated by Academy Award-nominated Sophie Okonedo, has won four awards at international film festivals.
Her short films have screened at multiple BAFTA, BIFA, and OSCAR qualifying Film Festivals, winning sixteen awards and an additional 28 nominations.
Annabel is a BFI network, BAFTA Connect and DDPTV member, a full WGGB member and was selected for the Directors UK mentorship program in 2019. She is a Core Member of Cinesisters, who campaign for increased visibility of women directors.
