Florence Bell is a screenwriter and actor who emerged in 2021 when her screenplay SUPER SPIRITUAL - the story of being saved from addiction by a two thousand year old genie - drew her to Channel 4 mentorship, BBC London Voices and the BBC Scripted cohort for 2024. She writes offbeat, irreverent stories about flawed, compelling people going on modern adventures to the vivid edges of experience.
She is currently developing CRUDE AWAKENING (6 x 30m) - the tale of an oil tycoon’s radicalisation by climate protestors, THE TRIBE (6 x 60m) a dark comedy about a group of millennial families who decide to live off grid, and SKIN IN THE GAME (feature) a queer rom-com set in the pre #metoo era film industry.
She is represented for writing by Steven Russell at Collective Talent and for acting by Staddon Millar Sweetland at Curtis Brown.
