Nicola Mills graduated from the National Film and Television School with an MA in Directing Fiction, following an award-winning career as a broadcast designer and director. She wrote her first feature script at the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam 2007.
Nicola was a participant of Guiding Lights 2008-9, mentored by Roger Michell, and wrote her second feature GREENGRASS in the same year, within the Script&Pitch European advanced script development scheme. She was selected on the Sheffield Documentary Festival initiative ‘Devise to Deliver with her feature project HANG AND JANE that she developed as a multiplatform piece with her mentor Michel Reilhac.
She is a founding member of Cinesisters.
